This pressed coconut oil is obtained by cold-pressing the fresh meat of mature coconuts. The oil is then filtered and packaged in a glass bottle. The oil is not heated, so it retains its natural nutrients and also has a slightly lower smoke point than refined coconut oil. It's a great addition to any oil or fat blend, or as a stand-alone oil.
